"...this day is for a man to sit by himself and return to Allah the Most High, ask for His forgiveness after the sins he did the previous year.

Beloved brothers, one more thing, I must note here, among other important things, that is concerning parents. Many of us are far from our parents. This does not mean we are to forget them. This does not mean we do not have to phone them, talk to them and to congratulate them (regarding the Eid). On this great day, your mothers and parents, wait a small (chance), a couple of minutes of your phone call of (Eid) greetings.

Believe, that they will not be as happy, until they hear your voices. To those whose parents are gone, today we can also remember them, do prayers for them so that Allah the Most High grants the forgiveness. Remember about them, also slaughter can be done (on their behalf), sadaqah or alms, those are also among the sunnahs of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

On this day, just like the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), we are obliged to forgive and ask forgiveness from our friends..."

reminder, while waiting for the Eid prayers to start.

[i called my mom on that day. d voip was kind enough to stay stable throughout the whole call]
