as per request from my fellow blogger, i present to you...

"prostoi noodle with idiotic chilli gravy a la azizul ismie"

a.k.a 

"mi bandung"

it is quite eazy to make 'ah...like 'ah uno dua trio [italian accent pls!] haha

all u need is:
  1. onion and garlic to be simmered/tumis
  2. shrimps/minced beef/cuttlefish/octopus [mind you, those are not the same]/pork eventho never tried :P
  3. vegetables like carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms for the extra rich feeling [cendawan mahal, tapi ngada2 nak taruk jugak]
  4. chilli powder 'secukup rasa' mixed with a bit of water. just enuf to make it like a paste, not fluid
  5. tomato paste or ketchup
  6. 3 spoonfuls of wheat flour, mixed with cold water, slightly fluid
  7. noodles of course! pre-boiled with oil and salt
we start'ah with simmering the minced onions and garlic. once it is fragrant, pour in the shrimps. fry until the juice comes out and the shrimps are red. nyum2!!

pour in the chilli paste. as i said 'secukup rasa' which means, if u like it hot, u can put like 3-4 tablespoons of chilli powder. i prefer it mild, i use 1-2 spoons only. if more, we'll be running from the noodle bowl to the toilet bowl. haha!

once the 'oil breaks'/pecah minyak, add 3-4 spoons of tomato paste. let it simmer for a while and don't forget to stir. by now, carrots and cauliflower can be poured in too. continue to stir for 3-4 minutes.

add water as to fill the pot and wait for it to boil.

once it boils, add the flour mixture to thicken the 'idiotic gravy'. another option is using tomato ketchup. 

add salt and sugar for better taste. 

voila! dinner is served!
